Design and Build
With design and build, you sign one contract with CAD Construction and we take responsibility for both the design and the construction of your building. It is usually faster than hiring a designer and contractor separately, because design, costing and permits run in parallel — and there is a single point of accountability from concept to turnover.

Design and Build: common questions
What is the difference between design and build and the traditional method?
In the traditional (design–bid–build) method you hire a designer first, then bid the finished plans out to contractors. In design and build, one company handles both, which usually shortens the timeline and gives you one party accountable for cost and quality.
Can you work from my existing plans?
Yes. If you already have approved plans, we can build them under a general construction contract instead.
